The X2C is the newest member of our 2WD competition family. The X2C bears a strikingresemblance to its family members but fundamental details have been modified.What's unmistakeable is that the front axis, kickup and steering have all been taken over from the X2 series. Caution! Centre stage. To achieve better chassis balance on surfaces with a lot of grip, like carpet, we've designed the X2C with a four gear wheel mid-mounted motor. In this case, mid-mounted motor means that the drivetrain is not behind the drive axis like on traditional 2WD buggies, but in front of the axis instead.
We used saddle packs for the drive battery here in order to ensure optimum weight distribution. The saddle packs are held securely in place with a CFRP battery holder. Drivetrain power is transferred via a ball differential on the CVD shafts. The fully adjustable chassis, featuring hard anodised oil shocks, takes care of the rest of the work.
