Time lost in the pits is always frustrating for any driver and can also lose you that all important track position. Quick pit work and a full tank of gas is all that is required but this is not always the easiest thing to achieve. Fuel foaming in the tank and squeezing the fuel bottle too hard allowing fuel to go over the brakes and the car are always pit lane problems. The Losi fuel gun has been designed to be as user friendly as possible with some nice neat features.
When filling the gun the opening uses a fuel tank style mechanism so there is no chance of losing the end or not sealing correctly. When filled the unit is totally sealed so no fuel can spill and you are ready for a pit stop. The trigger assembly is all enclosed so there is no chance of getting your hand caught and slowing up the trigger release system. Then to ensure you have a totally full tank the fuel cut-off tubes are positioned just behind the fuel release nozzle therefore ensuring the tank neck is also full. If the fuel gun is held perfectly upright there will be no fuel spillage at all and a full tank ready to go race !
On the side of the fuel gun there is a graduated scale so you can also see exactly what fuel went into the tank. Plus as the main body is clear you can see the fuel easily and clearly in the gun.
You can use the scale to see how much fuel went in to fill the tank, this then also allows you to maximise the next fuel stop potential.
