This is the SWorkz S350 BK1 Pro 2012 1:8 Off-Road Competition Buggy Kit. The S350 BK1 offers incredible performance for drivers of all skill levels. In order to make the S350 BK1 fast, strong and reliable on the track, SWorkz used the best materials available and a well balanced chassis configuration to compliment the refined design. The SWorkz S350 BK1 Pro Kit comes loaded with a variety of SWorkz option parts and industry first features that add strength, tunability and performance. Plus, this kit now includes the SWorkz 2012 chassis and CNC aluminum rear brace! The 2012 chassis is 1mm longer than the standard chassis, but also moves the chassis components 4mm further forward.
Some of the unique features found on this kit are a 6° lay down engine mount that keeps the CG low, and a 4 wheel dust protection system that helps to prevent dirt from building up inside the wheel. The pivot ball steering system uses turnbuckles to adjust camber and front track width, eliminating the need to remove the wheels or drill holes in your wheels to make camber adjustments. A dual level radio box simplifies access to the radio components with the receiver and receiver battery each in their own compartment. The CNC machined chassis features a first in class rear chassis kick up system that has been integrated to help to make the car easy to drive and reduce wear, while the droop screw tabs use flat head screws that are threaded into the chassis preventing the droop screws from damaging the tabs, and providing consistent droop settings race after race.
Other features include an adjustable front suspension arm system, and an adjustable anti-squat block that allow you to make changes to the hinge pin geometry with little effort. Aluminum bearing inserts are used to hold the pinion bearings in the differential housings and will help to prevent warping and melting of the housing if a bearing goes bad and the CVD design uses the axle bearing to capture the CVD coupler. 16mm big bore shocks provide the damping needed to handle any track condition and the included CNC chassis braces provide just enough flex without being too stiff. The flex mounted fuel tank and rear body mount have been designed to absorb shock, transferring less stress to those components, while two sets of front and rear shock springs, as well as three sets of front and rear sway bars are included so the car can be tuned to a wider variety of track conditions without the need to buy additional option parts.
