The 2015 Mito line from Novarossi is the pinnacle of .21 engine development. Using the Nova patented offset carb gives enhanced performance both at bottom and top whilst improving fuel economy.
The Novarossi Mito 4 offers good bottom end and superb mid range power delivery with a great feel for easy driving and amazing fuel economy.
Novarossi have used the 4 port design to great effect over the last few years and now combined with the offset carb and additional mid needle we have the pinnacle of engine development which offers performance which was only imaginary previously. Using a CNC machined piston gives the engine a easier tuning window and better fit between the piston and liner at a greater temperature range whilst the hardened crank minimises wear and with the tungsten inlays offers one of the most balanced cranks on the market giving exceptional smoothness in the power delivery.
For the UK Novarossi opted to go with a special specification which they felt offers the best performance / value ratio; that being the use of a Novarossi ceramic rear bearing for reduced rotating mass (improved high RPM and better fuel economy) with the Novarossi patented 17011 front bearing which utilises two rubber seals next to each other at the front of the bearing to better protect from any dirt ingress. This front bearing also has a inner race that is 0.3mm wider than standard meaning there is less need for a shim between the bearing and collet and also reduces the chances of debris being caught between the flywheel and bearing.
For those looking for a different feel to the engine with more aggressive mid and top end performance the Mito 7 make another option.
The most common set up would be to use the 41021 manifold and 9901 pipe.
The Mito 4 and 7 come installed with a 5.48mm venturi which offers stunningly smooth power and great run time. Also included is the 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0mm venturis which as you increase size will increase power and reduce fuel economy. Dont forget if you are going to a larger venturi the engine will be getting more air so must also get more fuel and a richer setting is required.
